Tamara Schafhauser, the creative mind behind Sheer Addiction, fell in love with jewelry design years ago, and has turned her passion into an expressive art form.  Possessing an eye for detail and a talent for identifying pieces that sing a rare and unusual song, Tamara collects and repurposes brass metals from across the world — always aiming to craft necklaces, bracelets, and earrings that point to diverse histories and tell a story. Working with aged brass spread out before her, Tamara designs remarkable jewelry on a daily basis. The resulting pieces are bold yet basic, sophisticated yet subtle — created for clients who enjoy wearing distinctive, handmade jewelry.
